I have been a professional pianist most of my life and have been teaching piano for more than 35 years. I am a member of several professional music clubs such as NFMC and MTNA. I served as the Knoxville Festival Chairman from 2012-2023.

As a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) I created my junior music club, Grace Notes JMC. Students are eligible to participate in the NFMC Festival each year and earn prizes and awards for their accomplishments.
 

Several of my students have earned their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gold cup trophies! Students audition in piano solo, piano concerto, vocal solo musical theatre, and theory.

I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Alabama Music Teachers Association (AMTA), Huntsville Music Teachers Association (HMTA), Florida Music Teachers Association (FSMTA) and the Jacksonville Music Teachers Association (JMTA).
